I recently stayed at the best affordable resort near the theme parks. Planning a trip for the family is always fun but can also be challenging.  I wanted a fun getaway to Orlando, FL but with a big family like mine we needed a family friendly resort right in the heart of all the fun. Although our stay was complimentary all opinions of my stay are my own.

The Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive is located in International Drive.  If you aren’t familiar with this area, this is where all the fun is located.  Not only are you near all the fun theme parks but you are near all the amazing restaurants and attractions.  You are even a walking distance from The Wheel at ICON Park which is so fun to experience. This park is full of shops, restaurants, entertainment, The Wheel, Orlando StarFlyer, Madame Tussauds, and SEA LIFE Aquarium & Skeletons which is the Museum of Osteology. You can fill your day with experiencing this park alone.

If you are traveling by plane, you will see that you are only 12 miles from the airport as well.  Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive had everything we were looking for.  The rooms were clean and spacious enough for our family of 5.  The room offered a flat screen tv, mini fridge, and high speed Wi-Fi. The lobby staff was so helpful in every possible way.  To say that I was pleased with this resort is an understatement.

They have 2 pools, a fitness center, and a huge courtyard. My girls had the freedom to run and play and honestly that is a plus in my book. It is truly a family friendly resort. The property also offers a Lobby Bar and their amazing Gatorville Poolside Bar & Grill which can be enjoyed pool side. 

The Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive is the best affordable resort near the theme parks.  I do recommend you give them a call and book your next family trip with them.
